Most “interview AI” tools fall into two camps. The first joins your call as a visible bot — a non-starter the moment your interviewer notices it. The second feeds you scripted answers to read aloud, which works exactly until you trip on a follow-up question you didn't expect.

Cornerman is neither. It gives you a private coaching surface, keeps bots out of the meeting, and surfaces short, targeted hints based on your own prep: STAR prompts, frameworks, the angle from your resume that the interviewer is fishing for. You stay in control of every word.

But your job search starts before the interview. That's why Cornerman also helps you discover jobs across thousands of companies (via Ashby, Greenhouse, and Lever public APIs), manage your resume vault with LLM-based parsing, track applications on a kanban board, generate tailored resumes and cover letters, check your ATS-friendliness score, analyze skill gaps, and run voice interviews — all in one place.

We built Cornerman around three principles:

• 01Coach, don't cheat. Hints come from your own preparation. Generated content is checked for factual accuracy. Cornerman sharpens you — it doesn't replace you.
• 02No meeting bot. Cornerman does not add an assistant, recorder, or participant to your interview call.
• 03Privacy first. Audio is streamed for live transcription only. We never store recordings. Prep, transcripts, reviews, resumes, job listings, and application data are stored by the SaaS so they can appear in your dashboard. See our privacy policy for details.
